What do Mercuryo transaction statuses mean?

Callbacks carry only the statuses listed on this page. For example, a transaction stopped by our risk checks arrives as cancelled. On success, callbacks for additional payment methods go payment_initiated → completed.

The user left the widget during KYC. How do they continue?

  • The transaction waits in order_scheduled for 30 minutes.
  • The user gets an email with a link to finish KYC and should continue from that link.
  • Opening the widget again with the same merchant_transaction_id returns error 400203 "The transaction already exist", even while the transaction waits for KYC.
  • You can't cancel the transaction, including through the API.
  • Once it reaches a final status, the user can start a new purchase with a new merchant_transaction_id.
