What do I need for native Apple Pay?
- Your own Apple Developer account.
- An Apple Merchant ID (looks like
merchant.com.yourcompany). Send it to your integration manager. - Two certificates. You create the Merchant Identity Certificate in your Apple account and keep it; Mercuryo never sees it. For payment processing, we send you a CSR file and you create the certificate from it.
How do I create the Payment Processing Certificate?
- Log in to developer.apple.com and open Certificates.
- Click +, choose Apple Pay Payment Processing Certificate and select your Merchant ID.
- Upload the CSR from Mercuryo, then download the certificate (
.cer).
After completing these steps, ask your integration manager for further instructions.
Where is native Apple Pay available?
It is unavailable for users in the UK and EEA (by IP) and for cards issued in the UK. US users go through a separate flow. Details: https://native-apple-pay.docs.mercuryo.io/guide/getting-started/overview
